made in 8 hours. The under-material is a cream damask swirl, and the overlay is dusty rose/beige embroidered and sequined sheer all-over lace. The sleeves have a stay to keep their tremendous volume, and the overlay sits daintily atop the puffs. The skirt is fitted to the darted bodice in front, and pleated and gathered to the princess-seamed bodice in back. The damask has a scalloped edging which was preserved in the hem of the skirt. This gown was sold for $200 USD.

A young lady...VERY young lady...requested her own version of Belle's dress from Beauty and the Beast. See what can be done with a simple sleeveless dress pattern? The dress is in two pieces..a glitter organza skirt attached to the sash, and a matte satin under-dress with a shoulder drape. Back zipper, lined bodice.
Rather large sash for a little girl!

The drape was made separately and tacked onto the gown.
